RIP Stephen Sutton, cancer charities need to try harder.

RIP Stephen Sutton I don't know you personally and I never met you but I can only say you must have had a lot of courage to live with what you had. I don't know what I'd do in your place but I know it would probably be too unbearable for me. Although I think your work for cancer charities is noble I doubt they truly are helping people. We have had stand up to cancer, race for life many cancer charities around the world getting large donations from celebrities and huge grants dedicated to research but only conflicting evidence that there is any sort of cure. The cancer charities do help raise awareness but they don't sort the problem out. It is the pharmaceutical companies that do the real research and I don't think they want to cure anything anytime soon. Cancer charities step up to the plate and fund independent research that gets somewhere. We don't need silly marathons or telethons with celebrities. People dying in hospitals don't care if former "heroin addict" davina mccall , gets tens of thousands for presenting a telethon for cancer research uk who makes millions each year. People want a cure now so please stop humouring society and get something done.
